Project Management

“Give us the tools, and we will finish the job…”
-Winston Churchill

Even the best laid project plans can quickly go wrong in unpredictable ways. Unknown conditions, sudden material cost/availability changes, as well as vendor and/or contractor performance concerns can derail a good project.

Community Planners’ approach to project planning and bidding provides all project stakeholders – the Board, Owners, Property Manager, Consultants and the Contractor – powerful, contractually binding tools that allow efficient administration of business transactions in a project…as well as the field performance of your contractor. This inevitably reduces construction time and costs.

As a way to mitigate some of the cost of project oversight, Community Planners places significant responsibility on contractors to demonstrate they have met project standards. Similarly, when contractor payments are made, Boards want to know the details of that payment as well as how that payment fits in the project budget/plan. Community Planners provides that information to all our clients.

Community Planners provides a variety of options for project management. We will be glad to respond to your inquiries concerning your unique needs.

Evaluating and documenting work as it is performed, is crucial for all capital improvement projects. Owners want to know they are receiving what they bought…and good contractors want to communicate that information as well. Field Reports are ground zero for the detailed information that yields true project accountability.

When contractor payments are made, Boards want to know the details of that payment as well as how that fits in the project budget/plan. Our Payment Worksheets provide that information…and they are cumulative. So, Boards can see the history of payments (and the project) in a single, comprehensive document.
